FLASH: Rio just returned from the Denver Summer Slide, where he made the stallion stakes non pro futurity finals and earned $450 in the first go round. Would have been co-champion in another division had he been entered. Plus half turnarounds in both gos, solid zeros in all other maneuvers. QUIET and easy, looks to want to be a show horse!

'Rio' is a big, handsome colt with solid reining maneuvers and cow sense. His dam is a full sibling to three earners of $21,000 NRCHA. Strong maternal lines.

Big stopper, zero to plus half turnarounds and easy lead changer. He's quiet and easy to get along with - the perfect non pro aged event horse for not a lot of money! No vices, 100% sound, just need to move some horses to afford showing others up and coming! 16 months reining training, some cow work. He will be shown in more NRHA events this fall if not sold, possibly returned to cow work as well.  He showed a lot of desire to work a cow as a two year old but was a bit lanky and awkward; as a three year old he's now figured out his feet!

This is one of those good, all around type of horses that could be a husband- and kid-safe horse - with talent.
