How do I advertise on DTF?

There are four places to advertise on DTF - different areas for events, associations, programs, horses, stallions, trainers, products and just about anything else you want to get the word out about.  Read below for a quick primer.

DownTheFence.com is proud to use Google Map radius search for all Marketplace, Horse for Sale and Directory ads – visitors simply search by zip code and other search criteria to return the results nearest them.

Free searchable and mappable listings for:

- your association (must offer cow horse events, can be any breed)
- breeding incentive programs (your association’s or your own)

DTF Trading Post

Free 60 day text or photo classifieds for:

- help wanted or help for hire (employment ads)
- used clothing, tack, trailers or anything previously owned (no vendors)
- just about anything else you’d normally sell on a private basis; related to our industry, of course

Please note the Trading Post is NOT for sale horses, stallions, or commercial ads.

90 day text, photo and video ads for sale horses:

- $15 for a 90 day text ad, include your web site link
- $30 for 90 day photo ads with up to 4 photos.
- $45 for 90 day video ads, up to 4 photos and a video clip - COMING SOON!

You may also purchase ‘Featured’ status.  Featured Horses rotate either at the top of their category and/or on every page on DTF.  You can buy different levels based on time as featured, number of rotations, etc.

Marketplace

$99 annual ads for a variety of services and products:

- trainers, breeders, stallions at stud
- books / videos, clothing & accessories, custom tack, Western stores, Western art
- pets, truck & trailer, real estate
- professional services: accounting, equine chiropractors/massage, advertising/design, hay vendors, cattle suppliers, vets, etc.

Annual ads may have up to 4 photos in a gallery.  ‘Featured listing’ status causes your ad to be rotated on the left column of every page.  More information coming soon.

Free 365 day Marketplace ads if placed before May 30 with a link exchange.
